Roof Cleaning Arlington Virginia

Reasons for Roof Cleaning in Arlington:

I’m sure you have done your homework. What that is on your roof in Virginia. What those living things are doing to your roof. Remember Pac Man? An eating machine! Same thing.

1. If you are selling your house. Think about it. They pull up, see the roof, drive away. They think the roof needs to be replaced. Forget about that new fridge you put in there.

2. You are thinking about selling your house and you have a dirty roof. Get a roof cleaning! Our cleaning last longer than a couple of months! Written guarantee.

3. You plan on dying in your house and want to spend as little as possible on maintanance. Especially the most expensive part. The roof.

Well that’s the reasons I’ve seen for Roof Cleaning.

Gutterdogs is new to Virginia. Brand new. We will bring the same quality and competitive pricing as we have done in Maryland, for non pressure roof cleaning to ARlington Virginia.

What roof cleaning method is safest for my roof?

There are only 2 methods, ways, to restore a roof. One method is with pressure. The other is without pressure.

There are many companies that use low pressure to wash your roof, and the soaps they use vary. That is really funny!  The one thing in common is the pressure washer?

Gutterdogs uses a non pressure method, for your roof cleaning needs, in Arlington Va.

Our method to clean your roof, is the only method approved by ARMA, GAF, Owens Corning.

Pressure washing PG, Charles, Calvert county Maryland

Looking for a pressure washing service and live in PG, Charles, or Calvert county Maryland?

There Are some things to consider when looking for this service. Here is what I think are the top 3.

1. How long have they been in business?

2. Do they have proof of the quality service you are paying for? And Expecting???

3. What types of soap are they going to use, will it damage plants etc. or are they going to use high pressure water?

There is also insurance, bonding. etc. Was the company taught to pressure wash by a reputable teacher/organization? Or are they just winging it???

Is pressure or power washing a sideline service they provide or do they Specialize in exterior cleaning?

It’s our goal to keep this blog short.

Here are just a few videos of happy customers.

Wood Cleaning Odenton Maryland

wood cleaning

Looking for a wood cleaning service in Odenton Maryland?

Did you know that traditional methods for wood cleaning with pressure uses nothing more than high pressure and water? Also did you know that high pressure does damage to the wood? It’s called “furring” of the wood. It actually looks like fur? It needs to be sanded. Unnecessary damage to the wood, and extra work to make it right. Is there a better safer way to make your deck or fence look new without damaging it? A uniform cleaning of the wood? The answer is Yes!

Our 4 step process for wood cleaning.

First we apply a stripper, if there is already a water sealer, stain, whatever on the wood, or we apply a gentle cleaner on the wood if it’s just grayed old wood with no sealer or stain on it. We let it sit on there for a lil bit and do it’s job. Then the finger nail test to see if there is new looking wood below the cleaner. We wait till desired results. Then we power wash the wood with very low pressure, you can put your hand under it. While the wood is still wet we apply a “brightener” to the wood. What has happened to the wood, durring the gentle cleaning process, is the PH of the wood has changed. To bring the PH back to normal a mild acid is used. It brings the PH back to zero. During the cleaning process a mild caustic was used, and that pulls the tennin out just a lil. What is tennin? That is the dark lines in the wood. I always ask the Home owner to watch this part. It’s like our roof cleaning process, Just like magic the wood brightens right in front of your eyes. Well can’t leave the brightener there, so the final, 4th step, is to gently rinse it off. Brand new wood minus what you wanted to remove. This method provides a uniform cleaning of the wood and NO damage.
